Body Gun - 2026
Soft sculpture, bullet shells, mohogany, Spanish cedar
Collaboration with Cooper Herweck
Body Gun takes the form of a giant machine gun, fully hand-sewn from found fabrics, hanging limply from a custom-made wooden gun rack. Developed from research into violence against female bodies in warfare and within the household, the work considers how objects associated with comfort and protection can also become instruments of control and harm. The gun rack was created by Cooper Herweck and shaped specifically around the sculpture.
